Sundays at Praise Point

Sunday mornings incorporate typical traditions with a relaxed, small-town atmosphere. Our focus is on the heart rather than the appearance. We encourage people to come as they are--some in suit and tie, some wearing jeans.

The warmth that greets you at the door extends from a genuine spirit of family within our congregation. Rather than a stiff and formal worship service, we meet together and share prayers, praises, and join in worship before digging into the Word.

Our praise and worship time uses the musical gifts of people in our church. The music ranges from traditional hymn-style piano playing to specials with guitars, bongos, and a more contemporary feel.

The Sunday worship service starts at 9:30 a.m. Partway through the service, children in grade 5 and younger are dismissed for junior church, a teaching time geared just for them.

After some singing and teaching, we gather in our gymnasium for snacks and drinks. It gives us a chance to catch up with each other and visit with newcomers.

Then we divide into groups for Sunday school. We have classes for infants through high school, plus several young adult and adult classes.

We provide a nursery throughout the morning.
